Vocation Prayers - Religious Life
Lord God,
Bless the men who have consecrated their lives to You.
Fill them with the fire of the Holy Spirit,
that they may preach, serve, and lead with courage and compassion.
Clothe them in humility and clothe their hearts in joy.
In times of weariness, be their strength;
in moments of doubt, be their light.
May their lives reflect Your love,
and draw others ever closer to You.
Amen.
Loving God,
We come before You with open hearts,
grateful for the calling You have placed upon our lives.
You have called us to follow You in a special way,
to dedicate our lives to prayer, service, and love.
Help us to always remember that this calling is a gift,
and that we are responding to Your invitation
to live for something greater than ourselves.
Grant us the grace to embrace our vocation with joy and humility,
trusting that You will guide us in every step of our journey.
May we find strength in Your presence
and comfort in knowing that You are always with us,
leading us through the challenges and joys of religious life.
Help us to grow in love for You and for all those we are called to serve,
and may our lives reflect Your light and truth to the world.
Amen.
Heavenly Father, in your wisdom you called
certain women and men
to a life of special consecration
so that in prayerful observance
of a lifestyle of poverty,
chaste celibacy and obedience,
they might be witnesses
to us that as St. Paul says,
“our true citizenship is in heaven.”
Give them, Lord,
the grace of joy and
perseverance in their holy vocation.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
Heavenly Father,
You call each of us to follow You in love and service.
We lift up to You those whom You are calling
to the religious life.
May Your Spirit guide them as they listen to Your voice,
fill their hearts with peace,
and give them the courage to say “yes” to Your will.
Lord, help them to trust in Your plan,
even when the path seems uncertain.
Grant them strength in their discernment,
and joy in their sacrifice.
Raise up a new generation of men and women
who will live in dedication,
bringing Your light to the world.
Mary, Mother of all vocations,
pray for them, and intercede for their journey.
We ask this through Christ,
our Savior and our Guide.
